Hello everyone! Well I've had this problem since I picked up the car and now that I can't play music for a week or so, its really getting to me. My shifter has an extremely annoying rattle/buzz (more of a buzz) coming from the top of it. It sounds like plastic rattling around. It happens over 2.5K RPMS, so during cruise it is constant. When I push down on the shifter head (push with a finger on the 123456R pattern, not the whole shifter assembly), even very lightly, it stops.
I tried searching for a fix, but it seems people only experience the whole unit rattling. Mine seems to be coming from the top only. Anyone know what is causing this problem and how to fix it? It's driving me absolutely crazy.
