They do since they use coolant to cool the turbos, but you're stuffing a hot intercooler in front of the OEM rad and using the stock fans to pull air through it. Compressing air generates plenty of heat on its own.

The GTM fans are less than $500 on a build that's probably over $10k for the sc kit and assorted other stuff.I'd rather overbuild than try to get by with the bare minimum on a project.
