Default are any cordless polishers worth buying?

Just as the title says, are any cordless polishers worth bothering with? For my situation, I live in an apartment and my garage does not have electrical outlets. I've actually not looked to see if there are any at the self-serve car wash I wash my Z at, but I don't expect any. So, my preference nudges over towards cordless things.

That said, I won't bother with a mediocre experience just to go cordless.

Worst case, I'll borrow a buddy's drive-way for polishing parties.
