The BCM is the Body Control Module, most commonly referred to as your Computer. Most cars now have a BCM and an ECM (engine.) I belive the BCM is located in the passenger kick panel in the Z.

You can tap into either one of the hood or hatch pin wires, but definitely do not tie them together. I would recommend the hood, as it is the most difficult to open without actually already being in the car. Also, isolate the glass break and vertical motion sensors using diodes just to be safe.

Tapping into the wire is to tell the car that the sensor has gone off. The Accessory input into the relay deactivates the sensors while the car is on, and the Timer holds the latch long enough for the car to start without causing issues. (While starting, most cars typically interrupt power on the Accessory leads.)
