So I went to a Capital Area Democratic Women's event this evening. I am neither democrat nor a woman

However, it was to honor three women (one of whom is a close friend) for their leadership and influence in the group in 2013, so I had fun supporting them for an evening

She also got me on the list (no cover), so I got free food and booze
