370Z's tend to drift really well, more so the Nismo's. With a real diff (a mechanical 2 way), they would be stellar. To use your brakes to initiate a drift, you have to pull the brake override fuse so you can brake and gas at the same time. I don't drift, I'm just passing along what I've read. But yes, tires and maintenance on the Z for drifting might suck.

Also regarding first gear, the stock exhaust blows @ss (my opinion). That was the first thing to go in my car. at 5krpm, it just sounds buzzy and coarse in the cabin. It sounds okay outside, but it's quiet still.
