Mine doesn't rasp with with a HFC at the Y pipe. (It does with cold exhaust pipes). Some guys don't want to cut into their exhaust. I advised another guy to add a resonated Y pipe and that worked well for him. The E370 has a resonated X chamber and doesn't rasp, which makes sense.
