The Yaw sensor can be disable by cutting the power wire to it, and adding a switch there. Winter project.
First time doing track days? The way I'm doing it. 1-brakes, 2-oil cooling, 3-tires, 4-increase your skill level, 5-handling, 6-engine cooling, 7-LSD, 8-lightweight clutch. I would start with replacing the brake hoses with stainless hose lines. Bleed the brakes and use something like Motul 600 brake fluid. Change your brake pads to something more inline with doing track days. YellowStuff is fine for starting out and doing DD. Oil cooler. Tires. Stock tires will do for now. LONG as they have good tread on them. Get sticky tires later, after your have worn these out. Get yourself a good helmet. The 6 point harness, and seats. I would wait. Get your feet wet first before spending a lot of money. I've seen guys do one track day, and call it quits. Can't do the speed on the track,
but can do it on the street.
They get all pissed off because someone in a Miata is passing them every couple of laps. LOL
