I wonder who you talked to, the car was tuned before the date that you posted this.
We have not yet tested the flow of our intake manifold on anything except an actual engine, where it seems to do very well. We understood what we wanted in a manifold, and we made it happen. If we plan on offering this manifold to the public, we will post the flow characteristics and all information.
As far as issues tuning the car? There were none. Unequal length piping led to absolutely no issues, and neither did the "weird MAF locations". Don't overthink it.
As far as weird MAF locations go. There are no weird MAF locations. Again, I'm not sure who you spoke with.
Also, please keep in mind that this system utilizes the YSI because the customer eventually wants to get closer to the 1000whp mark. If he was aiming for just 500whp and that was it, we would have gone with a smaller supercharger.
It was running and driving around at ZdayZ 2013 for anyone that was there. This thing has a very intense, crazy sound to it.
As far as a recipe for disaster: I beg to differ. We do a lot of thinking and planning before we do anything, and we never let something go out the door that isn't 100%. If it doesn't work, we don't do it.
Thank you guys, take care.
