WALK TO CURE DIABETES!
Sunday, November 8, 2009 ~ University of California, Irvine
As many of you know we have a personal connection with diabetes when our four year old daughter was diagnosed with diabetes over two years ago. As a result, besides closely monitoring her diet, Isabella must test her blood sugar levels three to four times a day and take insulin shots three times a day. As you can imagine, this has changed all our lives.
In our attempt to encourage and support Isabella and inform/educate those we know, we have formed
Isabella & Friends in order to do two things:
~raise money to support the research required to find a cure.
~provide support to Isabella and let her know she is not alone in her fight against diabetes.
How You Can Help Us!
~Make a generous contribution in support of team:
Isabella & Friends online by visiting
Type 1 Diabetes: Dedicated to Finding a Cure : Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International – Any amount is welcome!
~Come walk in support of Isabella November 8th at UCI and join our team. Join our team online at
Type 1 Diabetes: Dedicated to Finding a Cure : Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International , help us get the word out about walk to cure diabetes and help us collect donations.
We greatly appreciate your consideration and support of this most worthy cause. We look forward to having as many people as possible join us November 8th. Even if you cant join us on the walk, we appreciate any and all donations made to team
Isabella & Friends as part of our overall fundraising.
Thank you,
Joshua, Christina, Isabella & Olivia
