Agreed. Besides, it is the ONLY way to advertise products or services on the forum, lest you get
by a mod.
Your only other option is to PM the mods asking if you can gather enough info to find out if its worth it to you by creating some kind of group buy thread with pricing and such. But not sure if that realistic or not.
