If the A/S+ is the tire you want, I'd rather go A/S3. Newer, Michelin rates them as a better tire in every respect, and if you buy them from somewhere local. Which I mean, Costco, if you don't like them, you have a 30 day return policy from the manufacturer. And I say Costco because I bet they won't screw you for the install again

The A/S 3 (without the +) is the one I posted prices on. It's a new tire for 2013 (as far as I can tell). Not even heard of an A/S+.
Yeah, like you in SoCal, probably don't even need an all season. If it DOES rain in Atlanta, I just slow down to avoid hydroplane. And it rarely snows here (and if it did, I'd just drive the truck till it was gone). So, all I really need is a summer tire.
I asked because it was cheaper (than the older PSS Michelin) and had more mileage warranty on them.
Also, aren't all season tires louder on pavement?
