If you're going to do the clear bra, I recommend going the extra mile. Front bumper, front fenders, a-pillars, entire hood, and even the rear fenders. My first two rock chips were far up the hood near the windshield and on the driver side a-pillar, which are two locations people sometimes choose to omit when they get a clear bra. I would have been pissed if I had spent the dealer-quoted $1200 for 1/3 hood coverage and had that chip show up in the first month of ownership.

I did not opt for the clear bra because I was too cheap at the time. The Z was our first time to have a second car payment, so I was a little timid spending so much money. I do not obsess over the paint because it is a DD (I would go nuts), but I do my best to take care of it and figure I'll have anything professionally fixed when the car is no longer a DD. Do I like the massive number of tiny chips in my front bumper and front of the hood? No, but almost none of the defects are noticeable from more than 24" away. That's good enough for me for now - I just finished a full interior and exterior detail (long overdue) and she looks spectacular

I think a wrap is great way to change up the style to match one's personality. I personally love the gun metallic and would not change a thing
