Bracket racing is NOT about coming close to your dialed in time, it's about WINNING the race without going UNDER your dial in time. So without seeing the race, I'm sure you lost
Of course when you have real racers not the people that showed up in the bracket class there, you would have to do a lot of things perfect if you hope to have some chance in winning.
1) reaction time
2) consistent times
3) winning the race without breaking/going under your dialed in time.
Of course there's much more to know like knowing where the finish line is, like breaking hard before crossing it if you're ahead of the other car, so NOT to go under your dialed in time, like cutting the light close/quick reaction time/taking a chance, ONLY when you know your competition is very good, like he has quick reaction times & consistent performance close to his dial in. When your running against a not experienced racer you should not take a chance & getting a red light with a very quick/take a chance reaction time. There's also staging that gives you an advantage that most don't even understand & there's MORE.
It sounds like I would have won with one hand tied behind my back & reading a book during the racing
So what car won bracket one & what times. Bracket two & times? Was your race the final run? Any z's in bracket one(12.99) or better?
Sorry that you lost. If you asked before going, I'm sure you would have had a very good chance to win it all. Sorry....
