Exactly. It has a metallic rubbing sound. In garages is when I notice it most as well, but if I listen closely I can hear it while driving on the street with the windows down.

I have stock cats and a stillen CBE and I have the hiss for sure. I also heard the hiss when I had the stock CBE and muffler removed. It seems that anything that reduces backpressure magnifies the sound.
