Ok, well, I would never have done that but to each is own. I don't fault you for being innovative

You get an awesome sound when you remove the muffler and go with the short tail set up. the only caveat to that is that you lose back pressure causing the car to run rich and you lose low end torque. The AAM set up is nice but you could save yourself about $150 or more by getting it marked up at a reputable muffler shop. I had mine mocked up built and installed for about $225. if you want to keep the sound and gain your low end torque back you will need to get it tuned.
