Agree: many posts go on and on after the first couple of pages with not really useful information, I normally stop following these kind of threads although I have to say from time to time new useful stuff in that post comes up after many pages.
Disagree: if people write a new post every time they have a question (let's say which exhaust to buy, how to tune the car, etc) we'll end up having tons of similar posts with always the same information in them. Also, active forum users tend to get annoyed answering the same questions over and over, and this happens in RL too
