A good general rule of thumb is if you can feel it, it needs a respray. However, you can tough it up to where it's hardly noticeable if you take your time and are careful.

you'll need soem touch up paint and some clear coat. Once you touch up the spot and let it dry, dab a layer of clear over it. Then wet sand the area flat. Progress with 1200 then 1500 and lastly 2000 grit wet sand paper. Then buf the area out and re-wax
