Oh agree about track stress, natch. However, if he did this mudman routine, why would I trust the guy to take care of it?

BTW, I would never buy a used, modded auto, any brand. Too much risk of getting something that had the snot beat out of it.

You were right saying that carfax would never show this kind of sh!t. In fact, carfax doesn't show a ton of stuff beyond accident damage. I once looked at a used Outback from a used-car joint in the area. They provided me with a carfax on the spot, assuring me that this vehicle "has no bad history". When I checked the engine numbers against the chassis and showed them that the engine had been replaced, they denied any knowledge of the fact. Whenever I drive by their lot, I always notice used engines laying around the bays. Buyer beware.
