Default Something Scary to Think About

A kid was driving 80+ mph in Pleasanton, CA and hit a woman on a bicycle and killed her while trying to pass another car. Her husband was badly injured too. The cops initially charged him with vehicular manslaughter but decided to up the charges to murder after they discovered some tweets where he'd been bragging about driving 140 and offering to take his friends on a "death ride".

The clear warning for those of us who come here is to be careful what you write. I can think of one bay area member who journals about his adventures passing people on wet foggy Marin County roads in near darkness. If I got in a serious accident I wouldn't want those words to come back and ruin my life. I wonder if there's a way the administrators could take comments like those down if requested.

Like my momma always told me, don't put nothin' in writing that could come back to hurt you. Or somethin' like that.
