You have got to be kidding me? This is getting beyond ridiculous How many times are we going to have to go through this same joke. Once again as was stated before by several people the last time you brought this up.
The JDM version very well possibly could be 100lbs or so lighter due to it having less safety equipment however it is doubtful they changed too much because that would/could drive up cost and complications on the assembly line.
I don't think any one denied that fact. What was ludicrous was your statement about How there was more carbon fiber and titanium, and that they use different metallurgy specs because of the safety regulations being less stringent.

That being said. Rip out ur airbag system. Add more carbon fiber/titanium n aluminum parts and u hav a japanese Z. That can change the dynamics greatly and wouldn't be surpised if the japanese Z is 2900lbs.
