In this case, the copies are actually sticking the Rota name on the wheel...directly impugning the brand rather than just lifting the style. Rota has actually built a somehwat valuable brand as producing "safe fakes"

Coming from owning numerous Volk/Rays wheels they are one of my least favorite companies as they blatently knock off almost every Volk wheel but use far inferior materials and build process.
Their product is not good at all. There are a lot of youtube vids and pictures showing the quality of these wheels breaking off the hub at the spokes!
There are other companies that make original wheels and are not that much more pricey.
