i suggest you kind of 'practice' how you're going to pull the sides over and the bottom before you peel back the tape lining. if you just gently place it on the bumper it looks like the evor's finish picture.

you have to slightly 'stretch' it open, and let the tape tack down real nice. then the fitment is perfect.
Did you spray any soapy water (like they do on window tinting) to keep if from grabbing too quickly?
