Finishing the splice on the last one!
I found tons of difficulty trying to get it open at first, but it gradually got easier. If you don't have an oven, you can use either a butane torch or a heat gun. I had the luxury of both, and honestly, I set my heat gun to 1000 and just held it there for roughly 2 seconds over every spot, and to compensate for the 3000 degrees on the torch, I just lightly did it over with the torch. Found the heat gun to take about 5-10 minutes, and maybe 15 on the torch.

I then sealed it over with flow-able silicone. It's looking really good so far, and all I have left is to splice the second ring in. I don't have a word on whether or not the silicone comes off with heat, but I'm hoping I don't have to find out!

Will post pics once finished, one light re-installed working as intended.

Edit: Wiring is very easy. Have no experience, still spliced in. No solder yet though, because I think I may wait until I can wire fog lights.
