I doubt it. Low-RPM loss of torque is completely blown out of proportion in situations where there is "not enough backpressure." Take a look at charts of test-pipes vs. an otherwise stock car, for example...the reduction in backpressure of cats vs. no-cats is much greater than a 2.75" aftermarket cat-back vs. a 2.5".
A GReddy Ti-C on a stock car will still make
more low-end torque than a stock car. It just might make one or two lb-ft of torque in low-RPMs vs. a car with perhaps any other cat-back. Of course, if we are assuming a loss of torque down low with no evidence to back it up, it's safe to say that it will make up for it at the top-end on the same premise.

I don't plan on "going turbo" as many dreamers do, yet the Ti-C is my choice of exhaust thus far. It's 2.75" vs. 2.5" providing more flow and features titanium mufflers. It's presumably lighter than the other offerings from all the other tuner-shops and it looks better then the others, to boot.
