It depends on what sealant you're using as to how much of a waste both would be. I'd just do Opti-Coat and call it a day.

yep, best to have sealant/wax UNDER the clearbra so that you can actually remove it down the road.
the installer will use alcohol to wipe off the sealant around where the clearbra's edges are to minimize peel up.
then give it a week and apply spray sealant/wax over the clearbra.
