Default Engine Noise After Oil Change

Own a 2013 Z and decided to complete first oil change at 2K miles. Replaced stock oil with Redline 5W-30. Also replaced oil filter. Added 5 1/8 quarts of Redline per owner's manual. Upon checking for any leaks at the drain plug and/or filter housing, I noticed a distinct ticking noise coming from the engine compartment. Noise was not evident when the hood was closed or when driving afterwards. Since I'm not in the habit of being under the car inspecting for leaks or having my head in the engine compartment while the car is running, I'm not sure whether the noise has always been present. Maybe I'm just a little paranoid that I didn't replace the stock oil with Nissan Genuine Ester Oil, which evidently contains some nano-ballbearings to smooth things out. Anyway, since i know a lot of forum members use synthetic motor oils (including Redline), I'm just looking for input as to whether or not the ticking noise is normal. Note that the noise is distinct, but not loud. Thanks in advance for your input.
