I am expecting a check from a side job I did last year (government work takes forever to pay ). They usually go straight to the credit card if necessary or savings, but my plan was to pull about $1K from it for mods and maintenance Unfortunately, we hadn't heard anything about it until a few months ago when they said they approved the invoice. But apparently still have to sign off on it, process it, and issue it before it actually goes in the mail - fvcking bureaucratic bs Then the firm that I contract through writes me a check. It'll probably be Christmas before I get it
