you want to retorque the lugs anyway a few times after driving 5miles or so after taking the wheels off the car.
for stud replacement type, you just retorque the lug nuts.
for bolt-on type, ive been using loctite blue on the inner nuts and let them dry overnight. no need for retorquing those, but i still retorque the wheel lugs that hold the wheel to the spacers.
