My thermometer pegs at 600F. It was wrapped all the way back around to 200F, and the porcelin-enameled grill racks now look like bubble wrap
I haven't checked it for further damage, but I wouldn't be surprised to find the bottom tray compromised. Did you just replace the whole grill?
