Default Why is intake manifold pressure and exhaust temperature important?

The clock on the triple gauge cluster annoys me. Don't get me wrong I love my car. I'm just a bit OCD so the fact that it is visually different than the other two bugs me.

So I was looking around to see if it could be replaced and came across Defi. Most of the available gauges made sense but when would you want to know the intake manifold pressure and exhaust temperature? Is that a racing thing?

Turbo(200kPa)
Intake manifold pressure
Oil pressure
Fuel pressure
Oil temperature
Water temperature
Exhaust temperature

Also, if anyone has suggestions for other vendors feel free to let me know.

Thanks.
