Sorry for not replying sooner. I must have forgotten to subscribe to the thread.
If you've loaded a tune designed for headers high flows and catback and the exact same problem happens I would be very surprised if the issue was the tune. That would mean that two different tunes created the exact same drivability issues. Also, just for everyone's knowledge the way the Uprev software works is it basically downloads every available tune that we release. However it only allows you to see the tune that applies to your vehicle. This is selected by the vehicles ROM number. This ROM number is basically the cars operating system. So if you have ROM 123ABC you will only see the tunes available for ROM 123ABC...i'd have to check with engineering to be sure but there are something like 50 different ROMs for the VQ37 engines. We have at least one tune for every ROM we've seen. This tune is basically designed for an otherwise stock vehicle or a vehicle with a cat-back exhaust. In the situation you've described where there is an optional tune for other mods such as headers or high flows, this tune only exists because we have tuned a vehicle with these mods and this ROM and we've received good results. This means that if you had the option of selecting this tune that there is another vehicle with the same ROM and the same mods running well.
Is the car in 29 palms with you or is it back in nc? Do you know the ROM number for the car?
