Good Morning All!

The weeks from hell at work are finally winding down. To reward myself, I took the Z to work today.

Nothing makes me appreciate the Z more than driving the DD (2009 base Toyota Matrix) on a regular basis and then stepping into the Z. Power, fit, finish, and overall driving experience is truly amazing, and something I tend to take for granted.

In other news, Doran is re-doing my Nismo grille for fitment issues. Top-notch organization! Thanks to BJ.

I got my oil cooler and Stillen brake duct kit backing plates installed. Now it's just a matter of fitting the ducts in the bumper and running the hoses. As soon as I can find someone to turndown the rdeucers (4" duct and a 2" hose), then I will be ready for the install. Track day next Saturday, but don't think I'll be running the ducts before then. I'd rather do it right (following Rusty's lead on this one) than rush it.

Although I've been reading about them for years, I am amazed at the oil cooler. I drove home Friday in 100°F bumper-to-bumper traffic and the oil temp never rose over 200°F. When I did the Nissan track day at COTA, I almost went into limp mode several times.

Happy Hump Day all!
