You bought a sports car. If you came from a standard manual car it would certainly have been a bit easier to adjust. Even I had issues the first time I drove a 6mt 370 and I've been driving stick since my dad taught me. But think of it this way. When you get used to this manual you'll be able to drive damn near any manual on the planet without issue unless of course it comes with a performance clutch. Then good luck to you.
Those suckers drop and you don't even know it did until the car shakes and RPMs read 0. Then you scream because you swear up and down you are good at driving stick so why can't you drive this?! lol. It's all relevant. Take your time and at every light take it slow. As the saying goes, slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
