Well before dumping money into something that might work, probably should find where & when the car starts to bog down.
It might be oil temps, water temps, intake air temps, lack of airflow. If you have a scanner or ability to monitor temps more accurately you can probably find when & where it is causing the issue.

Oil temps are not going to be an issue until it starts getting into the 250 range when it starts pulling timing to protect the engine and then goes into 1st version of limp mode. I would take a bet it might be your air intake temps jumping up bogging it down.
