What concerns me more is the latent/hidden/systemic racism I sensed when the two white guys were talking. They tried to cover it by being generally unpleasant about everything, but it was sitting there and rose to the surface every now and then. Why does America tolerate this?
Aside from the fact that America is STILL a very racist country? I mean really, there's still segregation, and as long as people still talk about the "race card" and talk about race as if it's still an issue, it will ALWAYS be an issue.

The only way to get around racism is for our generation to pretend that there is NO racism, for us to pretend that there is no visible difference, and to teach our children exactly that because then they will grow up REALLY believing it instead of tip-toing around the taboo of racism.

Unfortunately, that won't happen because there are still parents out there teaching their children that other races are bad and that will indoctrinate them, and then they'll teach it to their children and the cycle won't be broken.
