I would be pretty stoked with a targa (Supra did it well) but I don't see any return to the T-Tops. Very 80's unfortunately, and no one is going back there.
As for track, save for purpose built open cockpit cars anything not enclosed is going to be an issue even for simple DE events. We also have a Z-R and its not going to accompany an aftermarket role bar at all where as cars like Miata can (though good luck passing the broom stick test unless you are < 5' 8"
If Nissan came out with a targa...or better yet Porsche a targa Cayman I would have an extremely difficult financial decision to make
