Been there... Back pressure keeps your low end power/torque but restrict to the top/peak power. HFCs free up the back pressure thus you lose your low end power but gain at top. That's nature of the beast. I don't really think reset ecu will do much. Your best bet is to have your car tuned. That will increase your drivability.
