I worked as a machinist apprentice before I did my electrician ticket and there we had super expensive bits and other machinist precision tools, but those are used for CNC machines and or manual mills or lathes.

Since going into electrical I can see the difference in some of the tools
it's like the difference between tools we use on aircraft, and tools we use at home.. sometimes it's the same thing.. because honestly, just because it's 50$ a drill bit doesn't make it high quality..
