The reason I say the Pats won't be is due to of all of this unwanted attention.
First, Gronk is a play-boy that can't get healthy and doesn't do anything to help himself get healthy.
Second, Tim Tebow and the entourage of jesus and media he brings with him, not to mention his inability to play throwball.
And third, the Hernandez saga. Granted, he's been cut, but that's still not going to stop the media from probing and asking questions any chance they get to the Pats players, coaches, and staff.
It's just too much I think. We'll see.
Denver is a contender (and my AFC pick) for sure, unfortunately. I don't like Denver.

Who else would you put in the top 3 for the AFC?
Gronk will be fine once he recovers from his surgery. He might miss a couple games in the beginning, but we don't really need him till the playoffs. Lol @ media attention from Tebow bringing the Pats down. Hernandez loss was bad, but we have other players who may be able to step in and help make up for his production. Shane Vereen did pretty damn well catching passes in the playoffs last season. He's definitely gonna see a bigger role this season. Once Edelman is healthy, he should do well too. If either of the rookie receivers do well, they ca. Help fill in for Hernandez as well.
