I'm sure the 45 was to just take the whole assembly, out of the car to the shop and have them swap them over. I paid about the same, as the eibachs are next to impossible to compress with the standard type of manual spring compressors.

If you are doing it at the hobby shop, should be no problem if they have a hydraulic spring compressor, which I'm sure they do. All the navy ones that I used to use when I was in had them. Plus, at the hobby shop you will have help and advice available should you need it.
