Today I have a bunch of parts coming in the mail for my new (used) civic. Will be spending lots of time this weekend working on it. Will also wash, clay, wash, polish, wax, wax 2nd coat it. It needs it BAD. I bought engine degreaser and will wash the engine bay.
Even though I said I wouldn't mod the civic, I have decided to make my own grounding kit from 8 gauge wires (stock I think is 14). The oem ground wires have corroded away and now every time radio is on, lights are dim, idle is wacky as well every time fans turn on or A.C is on. The diy ground kit will cost less than OEM replacement ground wires

hey there mr.zman.
huh, i didnt know you had a civic. did you sell/return the xD?
i dont usually clay the wheels or exhaust. wheels if that dirty, i use one-step sealant by Griots...which is a sealant with diminishing abrasives in the product. very quick and effective cleaning.
for exhaust, i just use my metal polish.
