Have you guys had a problem with overheating at all.

I also had to have my tranny replaced on my 2003, @ 14,000 miles, 3rd gear would grind everytime, with clutch depressed too.
oil overheating is an issue on the street in hot climates, on steep gradients, or on the track in any conditions where you are driving more than a lap or two (about 1.5 mins at 95% to get to 280+F)... i have tracked my car extensively and had no problems with water overheating - don't worry about that

the problem can be resolved by getting the factory nissan motorsports oil cooler kit or one of any aftermarket kits or making your own oil cooler setup... a little searching here and you will uncover many varieties of solutions that have all been tried successfully... if you plan to TT or track extensively look for a very beefy core or a dual core setup like I have

GTM has an impeccable reputation, so far as I know... as does forged performance and a number of other vendors on this board... recommend you call sharif at forged for an unbiased viewpoint on your upgrade options and FI options

good luck
