I just can't see how the anatomy of the system has changed at all! That's why I'm confused lol.

I don't have a base model, but when I look @ the config in the FSM for the base brakes, it looks exactly like what appears in his photo...

Oh you know what, I lied.

In the FSM, it looks like the spindle hard line terminates in an aluminum block on the pre-2013's and it instead butts into a normal connector on the 2013's.

I think the Z1 kit would still work, you might need to figure out a way to securely mount the block, that's all. Either way Z1 will have to make an adjustment to their kit if they want to maintain true 'bolt on' status.
