The more I look at this, the less I understand what the problem is here.

That brass block is intended to be bolted to the spindle and the spindle hardline gets screwed into it or the brass block goes on the chassis and the hardline there gets screwed into the block.

Either way there's a female connection at both ends, one just happens to be inside a brass block, which is intended to give you a strong, mountable way to screw the line in...

I'm really lost on how you can't use these lines, can someone explain??? Preferably with visual aids? lol
