I was also at fault for wanting intense, lengthy, and full of destruction superhuman action from a comic book movie featuring an alien super being fighting a gang of other alien super beings. That was just ridiculous. I mean, Superman should've just had a talk with his son or rebuilt the Great Wall of China with his--whatever kind of vision he used in that awful film.

Finally, Fast and Furious with its infinite runway action scene, Iron Man with the fake Mandarin, and Star Trek (well that was actually pretty good) were more enjoyable because they had better character development, was more realistic, and relatable.

Seriously, it's a movie about Superman kicking ***. The story, or lack of according to some, is just a plus. I would literally pay to see Superman, or any superhero like Thor go apesh1t on someone just for the hell of it. No story, no motivation, and definitely no character development required.

LoL I'm not even sure if it was a good or bad review.

I just saw it last night and aside from Martha Kent seeming completely nonchalant to the events taking place the movie seemed pretty legit. I thought it gave great insight into who Clark was as an individual and touched a little bit on all the other supporting characters. What I do know for sure is after seeing this movie there is no question as to what would happen if two "Supermen" threw down in the middle of a city. It's a wrap!
