Yes, assuming no diameters change, he'd be fine.

But the worthiness of a lightweight pulley is, likely, almost nil...lol. Generally the purpose of swapping to an underdrive pulley is to reduce the amount of energy sent to your accessories.....so why would you then put an OVERDRIVE pulley on your alternator?
