I'm ready to move up financially, but emotionally, I'm not. Almost bought an '01 Viper or a '97 F355 last year. After the 300ZX and 350Z trade ins were considered, I just couldn't do it. It almost felt like putting my dog to sleep.
I've been a Nissan fan for awhile yet oddly never liked the Z32. It's probably my least favorite 90s Japanese sports car. I think that's partially due to my dad having an MKIV Supra but still it never "wows" me, even to this day. When the Z33 came out, I really liked it, and almost bought an '08 HR....until I saw the Z34. I've always loved the 240z and when I saw the Z34 I fell in love. Then came the GTR and I spent a long time going back and forth between Z34 or GTR over the past year, but in the end the bang for the buck fun factor won and I got myself a Z34. I see myself holding onto this car for awhile (and I rarely say that)...there's just something about driving it that I can't explain. there's very few cars I'd trade in for at the moment and as long as I'm able to have a toy, I think this will be with me for awhile.
