My soles are almost black because I walk around barefoot and callouses develop over the dirt. I can wash them off and they'll still be black
For a while, I would leave my shoes on because I knew my feet were dirty. But she kept getting mad at me for doing that, so I just finally said screw it and took them off and left dirty footprints on their nice white carpet
She learned her lesson
