Default My pearl white 370z project

Hello from across the water in rainy Scotland!

I brought the 370z GT with around 10,000 miles on the clock in the pearl white finish and it was completely standard apart from the oem 19inch rays done in a metallic storm grey finish.

I previously owned a 2004 350z and it was sitting around 285bhp and 280lb/ft with breather mods and a remap via Uprev which I took on track. I decided to test drive a 370z and I was instantly impressed, it felt like a new car inside and outside.

First mod I did on the car was the Stillen Gen 3 intakes and it was worth the money as it sounded, looked and felt good on the road.

After that, I felt the car could look more aggressive on the road and thats when i got in touch with carbon signal and purchased their front carbon splitter with fang cover and rear diffuser which did exactly what I wanted with the look of the car.

I decided my next mod would be the invidia full system with titanium burnt tips to contrast with the rear diffuser plus make the car sound how it should. I did not want a loud system and zero drone on the motorway which is what I used in my commute to work. In the end it was the perfect system for my needs and everyone whose heard it, absolutely loves it. I added berks hi flow cats to make the system flow better.

I got the car remapped at a nissan tuner specialist who installed the uprev on the car and tuned it with the mods added. The car made 323whp and 300lb/ft. What a difference it made and it was worth every penny and the 5 hour drive. The car shocks alot of drivers on track and on the road which I will talk about later.

I had two track days this year which I booked after I got the 370z and installed the following parts:

KW v3 coilovers
Eibach sway bars
Eibach front and rear camber kit
Goodridge brake lines
Ferodo ds2500 pads

So I took the car on track and it felt great from start till finish. It was keeping up with cars running far greater power and 4wd yet they could not make any distance on me throughout the track. I am not a experienced driver on track as this was only my third time but the car gave me so much confidence all day. Only downfall to the car was the oil temperature as it went quite high after a good few hard laps and the brakes could do with a better setup in terms of discs and pads.

After the alignment, the difference was so significant that I felt I was taking corners alot quicker and simple things like changing lanes or roundabouts felt great.

We then took the backroads home from the track and it was beating the e92 m3 and e46 m3 on the straights and bends without much problem. I gave a GT3 a scare on the bends but on the straight, it was another level.

I am very happy with the car after once I get oil cooler fitted, upgrade the brakes and shred some weight, then I will be back on track as I am officially hooked. I am looking for alittle more power but dont want to be looking at forced induction so any suggestions would be great. I have enquired about the long tube headers that fast intentions do but they wont fit on the Uk cars due to it being RHD. Exterior wise Im looking at the EVO-r high wing with the carbon blade and possibly some carbon side skirts and fenders.

Any comments are welcome and thanks for reading
